LinkTrack® Training
At Gale Consulting we consider LinkTrack® training to be our forté.
You need only to speak to our existing clients to be assured that we can
deliver successful training products to your staff enabling them to become
effective users from day one! A brief outline of the training services
we offer is contained within this brochure.
Systems
Administration
At least one member of your staff should become familiar with the systems
operation of LinkTrack®. This is to ensure that the user base is
supported effectively and can liase on technical matters. All upgrade
activity,
particularly in relation to the integration of third party products,
should be carefully planned so that they can be managed effectively.
Data
De-duplication
Occasionally, companies or contacts may be entered into the system more
than once inadvertently. This module can resolve the resulting confusion
by the merging together of records, enabling disparate company histories
to become comprehensive. The Database Administrator may take ownership
of this module and induct other members of staff to assist in its maintenance.
Security
LinkTrack® uses several levels of security and can be tailored to
reflect the use of different groups of partners. At the commencement of
any security project, Gale Consulting will advise on the relevant level
of security for the organisations requirements and its partnership
commitments.
Queries
LinkTrack® operatives may use queries to aid them in finding
detailed information within the system. The intention is to guide staff
into using LinkTrack® like a directory and to run regular online queries
to supplement information required for reports and for planning their
projects etc. Any information found using the query can be
transferred to a report if required.
Diary
LinkTrack® contains its own diary but it can also integrate with Microsoft
products. By using Microsoft Outlook, the user can schedule
follow up activities and actions in LinkTrack®, resulting in an automatic
update of their personal schedule.
Pre-start
Contacts / Business Ideas
These modules combine to track the progress of individuals wishing to
start up their own business. When the business idea reaches the point
of being launched, all the history is compiled together and the idea
becomes
a company, joining the other client companies on the LinkTrack® database.
Contract
Management
LinkTrack® uses the Contract Management module to collect the details
of various funding commitments and monitors them over a specified period.
This enables staff to effectively manage the different funding arrangements
across their entire client base.
Property & Property
Enquiry
This module enables the company to collect details on properties within
the region and match them to prospective tenants or purchasers requirements.
Arpeggio/RnR
Report Writer
This is an SQL tool that works directly with the Oracle / SQL database
in order to interrogate the data and extract reports. It is advisable
that each organisation has two or three users who are trained to produce
reports of this nature.

activity
The following modules are a brief assessment of the marketing activity
training we offer:
Programme
Management
This module allows projects to be managed effectively. It correlates
agreed phases of a project and allows the user to check off certain milestones within
agreed delivery dates.
Events
This module involves the identification of the right mix of people, invitations
and the recording of who attends a seminar. Details of the speaker, venue,
costs and charges can also be recorded.
Service
orders
This module enables users to create a stock-list of services and products
available for sale to the industry. The training involved should be aimed
at members of staff responsible for this task.
Membership
Any contact on the database may become a member of any specific group
that the user wishes to set up. This module is ideal for any organisations
who have several special interest groups that need to be contacted regularly.
There is even an area for maintaining regular subject information.
Mail
Shots
LinkTrack® uses the mail merging facilities within Microsoft Word
to generate letters required for distribution to contacts selected from
LinkTrack®.
Questionnaires
This module is used in order to collect and to analyse data received via
both mailshot or telesales companies. It is quite often used for quality
assessments. |
